I had a wonderful lunch and was pleasantly surprised after reading some previous negative reviews. I spent my childhood in Hartlepool around 50 years ago when Staincliffe was a truly grand place. Over the years, my visits have been a bit disappointing. However, my return visit today, after 2 years, was a pleasant surprise. every thing in the ground floor seemed nice, but the hotel room was an nightmare. they had to be physically strong to open the hotel room door because of the new carpet, there were holes in the wall behind the door where the door button had passed and bar. the electrons went out and the solution was from the personal to show me how to take them back. the room was only waited once for a 3 night stay and I have repeate...
