This was my first visit to this lovely restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised by the very affordable menu with different price options. My party opted for the 2-course option for £10.95, which included 2 soups for starters, 1 steak pie and 1 haggis for main course. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. Overall, the experience at this restaurant was just okay. The food was okay, the atmosphere was okay, but I am not eager to return because of the inexperienced staff. I was unsure of what to do next and they seemed to be in need of some direction. The glasses needed to be cleaned better, as I noticed a red wine stain from the previous customers still on mine.
