This place had been around since 1953 and a poster out front said that First Blood was filmed on location at Hope and released in 1982; Stallone might have just hung out there. It's a diner in the true sense of the term, mostly comfort food on the menu. Looks like homemade pie is a famous item for this restaurant as big thick apple, cherry, rhubarb, and other pies were prominently displayed just inside the entrance.... View all feedback.

We arrived at the restaurant just before 10 am. Restaurant was full with a couple of vacant booths. Ordered our breakfast and after 1 hour, still had not arrived. Now I understand being busy, but over an hour after placing order? Not acceptable. When food did arrive, it was good but we won't be stopping here again. Not recommended if in a hurry.
