I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the House of Taipei. The house special fried rice, garlic chicken, and szechwan beef were all fantastic. I’m looking forward to returning so that I can try other menu items. If you are ever in and around the Charlotte NC area, I strongly recommend that you try the House of Taipei. As blinded as I am by nostalgia, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anybody craving Chinese food. I've gone here since I was a kid and now I'm an adult and it is sad for me to say that this place isn't what it used to be. Recipes changed for the worse and the service is not good anymore. Until this restaurant can get back to their old standards, I will not be returning. View all feedback.
