Hi,We visited this wildlife sanctuary mainly to see the koalas who are prolific on Kangaroo Island after being introduced in the 1920's. We saw lots mainly sleeping high up in the trees. A long range lens is a good idea. Maggie, the Sanctuary's resident cross kelpie/border collie is very enthusiastic at showing you where they koalas are plus some red flagged poles at the bottom of the gumtrees. We stopped here with 2 hungry kids (and parents) and we're disappointed at the limited selection for lunch considering they call themselves a "cafe". What we did have (quiche and sausage roll) was mediocre to say the least. However we have been here for the koalas before and they are a delight to see in their trees. View all feedback.
