my colleague and I went to the restaurant al porto on Thursday and were blown away from our eating! the restaurant has a really nice, chilled atmosphere, but still keeps a level of class. I had the liveliers to begin, followed by the best risotto I've ever tasted. my colleague had to start the garlic puzzles and the spaghetti carbonara for its main. that was nice to eat. A small Italian restaurant tucked away on the otherside of the marina. Its a bit of a pain for parking and it's up 2 flights of stairs on the 1st floor of a multi-use building with no lift. We visited on a Sunday at 4pm and were the only customers for the duration of our visit (we stayed until 7).
