What Mark Atkins likes about Ioannis Taverna:
Tavern on village square with fabulous view over Plaka to the sea. Pleasant cheerful helpful family run establishment with good range of traditional Greek dishes available. No complaints about portion size as starters alone were ample as a meal. Loved my mixed fried veg and the green beans got a thumbs up as well. We had made a booking however, the management seemed unaware of it. Not a great start ! My partner had the mousakka which he said was fabulous. I had the spaghetti bolognaise which had no sauce and was very dry .
