What Clarissa Stracke likes about Red Salt at Ko’a Kea Resort:
That was our first visit and I hope not the last. The food was spectacular. We had a sushi roll and two entrees and had a special dessert on our honeymoon visit! Great service and everything around a great experience. Only the complaint is the place where it was cool. My wife didn't bring a sweater and was very cold. But you'd expect that in Hawaii. What Madisyn Bode doesn't like about Red Salt at Ko’a Kea Resort:
30 year anniversary dinner. Waited a bit to get the first order in. Had to ask for bread we saw at other tables. The restaurant was not very busy when we arrived. The service was good enough. What bothered us was the manager never paid any attention to our table yet made the rounds with other tables quite thoroughly. We felt like ignored one time diners at the only restaurant at the hotel where we were staying at while regulars not staying at the hotel got the 5 star treatment. My wife and I had a bottle of wine and split an appetizer and the special surf and turf. Total bill was $250. Won’t recommend or return again during our stay which started today. The food was indeed excellent.
very overpriced for very average type eat. not very impressed
