First time at Melanie’s. Chips and salsa are good. Tried the Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and white gravy and house salad with Ranch dressing. Salad and mashed potatoes were good. The Chicken Fried Steak was tough and too much breading. If you can’t cut it with a fork it’s too tough! Will try Melanie’s again too see if any of the other items on the menu are better tasting! The restaurant has nice decor. The service was very slow. Took us forever to get waited on. However, the waitress did apologize, saying it was graduation, and a lot of people were off.
