A wonderful, historic hostelry. Entered into the cosy coolness of the bar, from a hot day outside. The food was delicious and the service was exemplary. Relaxed into an armchair and did not want to leave. The usual Wetherspoons fayre, with cheap drinks and menu, but a cut above the average. Outside seating and obliging, efficient staff.
