I don't typically write reviews for pub meals, as they are usually pretty standard, but this one was exceptional. It was a family gathering with two youngsters, two parents, and two grandparents. decent pub which is geared up more for food than just drinking,as a marstons chain pub the food menu is fairly standard but a lot of menu items are buy one get another free which is fine if you are a even number of customers but if not you will lose out,rather than this gimmick all items should be priced per person,our sunday lunch was decent and most important the gravy was tasty and our waitress friendly.
