We came across Mr. Kwiz during the island Fiesta, and were invited in for their lunch open house. We were spoiled with Lechon and some other lovely local dishes - the restaurant was so generous and kind! Such great hospitality is what makes it so easy to come back to Malapascua again and again. Avoid at all costs. We booked online and when we arrived having travelled hours they clearly didn't have the room ready. It smelt damp, musty, the loo seat was missing, the basin in a terrible state, we couldn't stay there. Worst of all the staff didn't seem to care, they didn't even try and make it better, or even offer us a drink. The manager didn't seem to care either as we had paid in advance and they were refusi...
