The Mansion Bar Parlour is located in the quiet Barkston Gardens just off Earl’s Court Road. Built in 1886 as a Victorian Mansion House, the building was converted into a hotel by its architect, John Roberts in 1890. In 2012, the Hotel underwent a £7 Million refurbishment and opened as the 4-star deluxe Hotel Indigo Kensington. The Mansion Bar Parlour opened in February 2013, specializing in molecular and carbonized cocktails. Its stylish interior combined with its unique offerings has earned it many accolades from the public and press. As part of its launch, the Bar became the first in the world to bestow Lord and Lady of the Manor titles to all of its employees as part of its employment package.
