Masatoshi Ogata, our founder, was a lorry driver with a dream of opening his own ramen shop. While driving to many regions across Japan, he sampled delicious ramen dishes and carefully collected ingredients to create his own perfect recipe. Using scrap wood from a local school, he built his first ramen shop with his bare hands in 1969. 3 years later, after putting all his efforts into his dream, his perfect ramen became a reality as "Yamagoya ramen.” Today, we proudly present our London pop-up location, offering a limited run of our delicious dishes.
Based on the average review of 4.1, the Yamagoya is definitely worth a visit.
What User likes about Yamagoya:
we had two fantastic (if unorthodoxe) bowls of different rams, full of taste and good added. purists could not contradict each other, but I thought it was great. desserts were a bit average, and the service was also slow in a quiet night. View all feedback.
Star dish the karaage. And a bowl of ramen for everyone!
