As a resident of Clifton, I was eager to try La Bonita because of its proximity to my home and reputation for great Mexican food. However, my experience was far from amazing. The salsa tasted like canned tomatoes and the chips were soggy and oily. The cheese dip was thin and watery, and the shrimp fajitas had a strange texture and flavor.
