We were driving into Provence and it was almost 2:30 so we needed to stop for lunch. We drove through Lourmarin and found a parking spot. As it was raining we ducked into the restaurant directly across the street - L'Oustalet. We couldn't have been more pleased. We had a marvelous and reasonably priced lunch. Would highly recommend whether staying in Lourmarin or just passing through. View all feedback.

L'Oustalet is nicely situated in Lourmarin, and is a pleasant place to have lunch. It supposedly was Albert Camus' favorite restaurant in Lourmarin...but that was years ago! The food is pretty basic french cooking. OK, but nothing to write home about. We had a nice lunch here, but there are plenty of other places that I would go to for dinner if I was looking for something more upscale. Service was sort of shambolic.... View all feedback.
