3.5 stars for our private cooking class, which included a trip to the market and preparation of some tasty Lao and Thai dishes. It was fun, but not quite what we expected: instead of 4 hours, it was hardly 2; most of the prep was done for us, including the shopping, so it didn’t feel very involved. Our guide and chef were both very kind, though. Long story short, it was a good time but not quite worth the high price tag.
