Merced Sizzler is like coming home. Service excellent. The salad bar is good. My friend ordered the menu. She couldn't finish the Sirloin tips... zuooo salty and rice mud. I had salad bar and it was fresh. We chose the sodium content. Not healthy and not 4 or 5. Jasmine was the bomb. I mean, she was great and always smiling and attentive. Great salad bar but DONT order anything else! While the steak was cooked perfectly it tasted like grill oil. They like to use margarine on the bread and potatoes. The trio of shrimp was inedible. WAY too much breading, greasy, and cold. The strawberry lemonade was yummy. If you want a salad bar with cold crisp lettuce and lots of topping, they do that well.
