The Royal Oak at Wineham offers a cozy atmosphere with plenty of beverage options. The menu is varied, featuring fresh and well-prepared dishes. However, some diners found the food quality lacking, and the menu options limited. Despite mixed reviews on service and menu selection, the pub's charm and friendly staff stand out. The outdoor dining sheds provide a unique experience, with delicious dishes like mushroom toast and lamb kleftico. While some may have encountered issues with menu availability, others found the ploughman's platter exceptional, making this a recommended spot for a delightful meal in a peaceful setting.
What jtwoodfield likes about The Royal Oak:
A wonderful, traditional country pub. Great atmosphere. Great food. Great value. Unlike so many pubs, does not make the mistake of pretending to be a Michelin star restaurant with prices to match. View all feedback.
