Visitors to the area last week had a great welcome from the new publicans enjoyed a drink early evening. Returned the next evening to eat but the pub was full as holding a quiz evening so had go elsewhere. We were disappointed but very pleased for the pub as so many are closing. Once again, the pub- restaurant has a new owner, and I love what they have done to the place. Lovely cozy ambiance. Good food, polite... and fast service. A little too fast, actually. Our entire 3 course planned dinner took probably about an hour. We felt rushed.
