I’ve been to all the “top” BBQ restaurants in KC and by far my all time favorite is Char Bar. At our most recent visit we were greeted promptly and our server was very friendly and attentive. We’ve tried many items on the menu but this time went with the Whomp platter. Everything was delicious especially the ribs and burnt ends. Food was pretty good, service was sub par. Our server apparently got overwhelmed and so therefore our service suffered. No water refills, ordered drinks were not delivered, and had to go to another server to get our bills. Don't live locally, but not sure I'd return when in town. View all feedback.
