Essence is a casual French restaurant opened by Chef Shiro Naito in 2010, located conveniently next to Inokashira Park and Ghibli Museum. The restaurant offers themed seasonal courses using fresh, seasonal ingredients such as organic vegetables from Yoko Farms and fish and shellfish directly delivered from Hakodate. They also grow some of their own ingredients using chemical-free fertilizer from Tokorozawa. Guests can enjoy their meal in a spacious dining area with tables or book a private room for special occasions.
