Imperio, a charming Portuguese grill in Montreal, offers delicious food with good seasoning. Despite some disappointments with portion sizes, the paella, mixed meat platter, fried calamari, grilled sardines, and charcoal chicken were all delectable. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service friendly, and the price reasonable. The restaurant's decor, with a large blue wall representing Portuguese imagery, transports diners to a sunny paradise. With a variety of Portuguese dishes, excellent service, and top-notch food, Imperio is a hidden gem worth visiting for classic Portuguese cuisine at an affordable price.Call ahead for the paella on Saturday nights.
What User likes about Imperio:
How many times, I had this wonderful smell of grill that tickled my nose when I passed by.This time I went in.When in, the first things we smell the chicken and sardines on the grill and a huge blue wall representative of the Portuguese imagery surrounds the interior of the restaurant. For a moment the Jarry street becomes a little, sunny paradise. I will not wait so long to return. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Imperio:
The food is good, seasoning are good. However I ordered a leg/thigh with Salad plate, the size of the chicken leg was so small I was shocked. They must have been baby chickens because that was ridiculous. wasn't worth the price even though the price was not high. View all feedback.
