What Marion Blümler likes about Barbalu:
Alvaro is your gem! He’s the most gracious host along wit everyone else. The chef de cuisine was also accommodating and nice. I liked my baked eggs but can’t wait to try the homemade pastas. Best value for unlimited cocktails at $25 for two hours. A neighborhood fave for sure. Come to Barbalu!Food: 4/5 View all feedback.
What Angela Brown doesn't like about Barbalu:
The food was fine and the prices are fair for the location but the service my friend and I received was abysmal. When we were seated, we were asked what drinks we would like...and that was the last time we received any service unprompted the entire night. Everytime thereafter we had to flag someone down, even just to order any food. You would think us still having our menus out for 25 minutes while the waitstaff walk... View all feedback.
Food was good we had the lasagna and the spicy black linguini. The vibe is relaxed and nice to...
The food and the service was good. The pasta Al Dente and the sauce well done made. I recommend...
You are welcome to bring your own drinks for a corkage fee and consume them with your meal, and you can have a well-chilled beer (local as well as international varieties) drink. Or enjoy a cocktail or even several - no matter if fruity, refreshing, creamy, bitter, alcoholic or non-alcoholic!.
The restaurant offers partitioned rooms that can be rented for quiet eating or celebrating, and there's a counter where you can sit down and eat. The seat / dining area invites you to linger and extensively sample, If you plan to show up with a larger gathering, there is a spacious dining hall. If the weather are right, you can also have something to eat outside.
