Unfortunately, the lukewarm, overcooked food did not live up to the hype. On the other hand, a work function at Rydges Hotel surprised diners with a quality buffet lunch that included standout dishes like the chicken barramundi net. Cocktails were hit or miss, but the restaurant impressed with its accommodating vegetarian options and attentive service. Despite the hotel's appearance, the restaurant shone with excellent Spanish-style meat and sides at reasonable prices. Overall, diners enjoyed the good quality, affordable food at the hotel restaurant, along with the clean atmosphere, friendly staff, and special attention paid to accommodating special needs. Miss M is still waiting for Food and Beverage to call her after her disappointing experience with the iPad novelty craze restaurant.
