I’m a type 1 diabetic and ordered a non alcoholic drink from the bartender and asked to substitute tonic for soda water in a cocktail. I was curtly told “no substitutions”. I tried to explain that I’m a diabetic and the bartender still refused… I will never understand why you would refuse to accommodate a medical condition when it makes no difference to the business.
