I went there on a date, hoping to try out some of Kansas City's legendary BBQ. I will admit, Smokey's did not disappoint; excellent smoked meats with a soft mesquite flavor. I especially liked the beef tips that I had; they don't always smoke the best, but Smokey's had a nice fat content which helped to keep the meat moist and juicy throughout my meal. If I could give zero stars for customer service I would! Unfortunately, the staff is/was not wearing name tags or I would put their names. We were the only people who were there except employees.
