I used to love this place. I drove all the way to Oxford from Galena, IL to eat there! Not any more. Chef Ben is gone, but the unscrupulous other partner/owner who took it over doesn't want you to know that. They figure if they keep Ben and Jeri's concept, the name and Chef Ben's menu people will keep coming. Its not going to take long for this place to go completely down hill. I wouldn't bother. The current menu may be expanded on site to include seasonal specialties and weekly recommendations. In addition to a variety of meals, the card also offers a selection of beverages and typical house dishes. Additionally, the menu also takes into account dishes and ingredients that have been positively highlighted by customers, even if these have not yet been entered.
The place also offers the possibility to sit outside and be served in nice weather.
