We have eaten here in the past. Today, I had a turkey leg, which is only available on the weekends. It was good, but it was dry. Next time, I will probably have the sliced turkey. We also had a loaded baked potato, which is always good! I had a peach cobbler as well. It was good, but I felt it was too sweet. I know, it's supposed to be sweet, but I couldn't finish it. What Gourmand doesn't like about Central Texas Style Bbq:
Man, as hyped as this place is online, the bbq is just not good. The brisket has no smoke ring and is almost boiled in nature. Not that fatty either even though we asked for that. The sausage does not have a good casing, leading to a lackluster bite.Flavor wise it?s also not as strong as it should be. The potato salad and yams are great sides which really carry therestaurant.
