Went to La Union while on vacation in Pensacola this past weekend. The people there were friendly. There were several dishes to choose from. I had the soup- beef short ribs, plantains, potatoes, corn, carrots, cilantro, avocado. It was excellent! My cousin had the stewed chicken. She loved it. Both were served with rice and plantains. Bought some tortilla flour mix and it was expired from May 2021. Also bought a bag of pork skins (chicarrones) that expired May 2022.I didn't pay attention to the dates until I was driving down the road.
