We ate twice at the Tavern during our recent stay, and it was phenomenal both times!! The wait staff are wonderful, attentive, professional and friendly. The bartender made me a drink that wasn't on the menu, a blueberry lemon martini with fresh fruit, and it was delicious. Everything we ate was fresh, cooked and spiced to perfection. Had just arrived for a 3 night stay at the Magnolia Inn at PINEHURST. We walked down the street to the Tavern located at the Holly Inn. We ordered two onion soups and two salads. Also ordered a vodka martini and a glass of red wine. The bill arrives and it totals $101. Checked the bill and learned that my half filled martini costs $29.00!!! That’s right TWENTY NINE DOLLARS!!
