The Royal is a good spot for a pub meal. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. The dining area looks recently refreshed and was well presented. The menu is typical pub fare with a few twists and is cooked very well. The coffees came with what appeared to be home made candied chocolate coated orange pieces whicj I thought was a lovely touch.
