We went for a run to Newtown today as the lockdown was eased in Wales. We saw Jarmans fish and chip shop was open, so we tried some. Oh my! They were the best fish and chips we’ve had for years! Gorgeous fish, and the chips were fluffy inside, not hard like you get in some places. They also had a huge choice on their menu. Definitely going again! View all feedback.

Walked in about 7pm. Little food on the hot shelves and no staff to be seen. Did appear open, I waited for 5 mins then left. This was a Friday in August. Is there a problem with this place? Certainly not as busy as other F&C places in Newtown. Perhaps I just walked in at the wrong time but one would expect to be pretty busy on a Friday. View all feedback.
