When I travel I like to eat at places that serve good homemade type of cooking. I try to stay away from fast food and chain restaurants. Houston's on park Ave have excellent service and top quality food. I had the pizza, Caesar salad and soup for lunch. It was beyond good and the serving size was ample. Starter was ok, then the pizza arrived (chicken mushrrom onion and pepper $40 pizza) water was under the pizza and base was wet. Complained to waitress, this was my fault for asking for mushrooms, not the fact that mushrooms were buried under all the toppings and gently steamed the base. The food was poor but the attitude of the server will make sure that my first visit to houston pizza will be my last. View all feedback.
