Blackwall Hitch - Rehoboth - REHOBOTH BEACH

The Burmese restaurant that we visited left us with mixed feelings. While the sauces in the meat stews were nice, the meats were not as tender as we had hoped for. The Moh Hin Ga (Fish Noodle Soup) was lacking in flavor according to one of my colleagues. Despite some issues with the timing of the meal and the overall experience, it seems that many people enjoy dining at this restaurant based on their positive Yelp ratings. While we may not be returning anytime soon, it could have been just a bad day or unlucky timing on our part. On a more positive note, other reviewers shared their delightful experiences at Blackwall Hitch on Rehoboth Ave, praising the delicious food, great service, and pleasant ambiance. The Indian restaurant also received high marks for its outstanding food and exceptional service, making it a must-visit spot despite being slightly pricier than other Indian restaurants. Heading back to the Burmese place, we encountered a helpful and friendly server named Ike who made our visit more enjoyable. The second visit was much better compared to the first, with perfectly cooked meals and great wine recommendations. Another reviewer also praised the exceptional service they received at the restaurant, along with rave reviews for the short rib plate and pear and arugula flatbread. Meanwhile, a brunch experience at a beachside restaurant was described as the best ever, with amazing attention to detail and fresh ingredients creating a sensational dining experience. Overall, while our Burmese dining experience may not have been perfect, there are clearly plenty of other restaurants in the area that offer fantastic food and excellent service.
