Rufus King Seafoods has been delighting visitors and locals on North Stradbroke Island for years with the freshest quality seafood available. Located in the charming fishing village of Amity Point at the north-west tip of the island, just minutes from the Amity Point jetty where local trawlers dock, we have built a strong reputation for our seafood offerings. Our selection includes a variety of locally caught seafood such as king prawns, balmain bugs, sand crabs, mud crabs, oysters, sea mullet, whiting, mackerel, bream, snapper, and flathead, all subject to availability and season. While we focus on local seafood, we also supplement our offerings with market products like fish, squid, mussels, and scallops.
What User likes about Rufus King Seafoods:
We went to Rufus King Seafoods to get some prawns. They were huge king prawns and were so fresh. Half a kilo was great for lunch. We bought some tartare sauce to set it off. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Rufus King Seafoods:
It was cheaper to buy Straddie seafood in Capalaba as we saw places advertised lower prices when back on the main land. Very casual customer service. Very over priced for just off the trawler' and compared to Europe the USA it would go out...of business within a month. Buy your seafood on the main land bring it to the island and eat and look at the amazing view in Point Look Out. View all feedback.
