From misleading advertising in the Courier we(pensioners- on- a -shoestring) thought we had found a great bargain for my 79th Birthday lunch. The food and ambience was great but the bill at the end was twice what we had planned for. We both read the ambiguous advertising incorrectly! We were certainly "caught out". read more.

Nice surroundings pleasant waitresses. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Lighting inside was bad. Had a soup which was tasteless and no spicy as suggested also looked like one ladle in a huge bowl. Garlic bread ok. Mains was quick thougj steak was not rare but they did offer to change the one I recieved. Hand cut chips were under the steak in sauce so were soggy. Service was good. read more.
