I've been dining at Balon's for more than a couple of decades. Always great. Always got their chicken dinner. Alas, they don't do that anymore. So... I opted to experiment with their mushrooms and Swiss burger. Wow! Hand-made ciabatta bun topped with a H-U-G-E burger made just right with some excellent fries. Gonna do that again. The pot pie special was hardly any food and not hot. Told we could substitute the pickled beets that came with the meal for slaw (no upcharge mentioned). Got the check and was charged $3 for the slaw. Just wrong. Great for breakfast. Lunch options not the place to go. View all feedback.
