Often imitated, never duplicated. If you want the best fried shrimp and hushpuppies, Osteens is the place. Every time I go, the shrimp is hot, fresh, perfectly fried and simply the best, period. I know it’s very popular and some people claim it’s definitely a “must go to restaurant” but I’ve been there twice and both times are long wait times and we arrived shortly after they opened.
