A group of 7 of us had our evening meal here on two occasions whilst staying (elsewhere) in Midhopestones for a week. We had booked a table for the day we arrived and the meal was so good we booked again for 3 days later. What BomBusBea doesn't like about Ye Olde Mustard Pot:
Fish chip supper. Crispy, tasty plenty on the plate. Bit too oily…. But not bad for a wet Tuesday night!.. got a slice of lemon which was a good touch… but no garnish of salad was ok. Was cold outside… and not to warm inside?… no fire burning… but a electrical fan heater was provided to warm up a table of 6- which proved to be Pretty useless!
