Superb Food. For 18 years we have passed this pub and only today actually gone it. What a wasted 18 years. I had a delicious home made steak and ale pie with mash whilst my wife had a lovely home made cheese and bacon burger. For deserts one of the best crumbles ive ever had and a delightful caramel cheesecake. Service was friendly and efficient and pub really clean. Looks like we have found a new local for food. Went for the set Christmas meal, as a team of 9. on entering it was cold and we were seated by the door, it was frosty and freezing out, so would have been nice to have had a warm cozy welcome.. Menu choice was good two or three courses.. £30 three courses.. food was not very hot, but plenty of it, fresh vegetables was nice.. Chocolate fudge cake was underwhelming View all feedback.
