We were made very welcome by the landlord for an afternoon drink, very friendly man and explained a bit of the history of the pub. Very interesting. It was quiet and I wasn’t sure which local ale to try. He kindly let me sample a few before I purchased. Lovely welcoming pub. Great ales too. When in Rome as they say! View all feedback.

Ive been a few times over the years and it's always had a great atmosphere bit went in today and it was filthy dirty glasses covering bar ordered 2 drinks bit left them as 1 of the glasses was dirty, went to garden and top of steps full of rubbish. My husband went back in 4 hours later to use toilet and bar had even more dirty glasses on and barman was sat drinking, I refused to go back in View all feedback.
