Cinammon roll was delicious…smelled so good we didn't even get a photo and only realized after I inhaled my half. Coffee is more blonde and light which is nice for sitting for long periods. Seems like a lot of UIC students come to this spot to study or for Saturday/Sunday brunch. Staff is nice and helpful. Good sized seating for a big group or a bar if you're a single. What O M doesn't like about Claremont Diner:
This spot was pretty sweet. Stopped by for lunch-time breakfast and got the eggs Benedict and hash browns. The hash browns were super crispy yet not dried out. The yolk was still runny which was great. Wish they used Hollandaise instead of Bernaise though--the Bernaise lacked flavor. The slight acidity of Hollandaise gives it that extra special kick.
