We had an excellent meal and amazing experience at Mable's Table. We were in a bit of a rush due to a late Cubs win and catching a train back to NY. I called and spoke with the manager Scott to see if we could move out our reservation and if we'd have enough time to eat and catch the train. Decent food, but odd sized portions and dead-pane staff. Mussels and frites came with 30 mussels and 5 frites in a deep soup of Gorgonzola and shell pieces. Mac&cheese is fun but such a small portion for “truffle” infusion is not worth 16$. Cocktails are boring and way overpriced. Fun neighborhood vibe but not worth a visit. View all feedback.
