We stopped here on Christmas Eve on our trip to South Carolina. We all love BBQ and Fried Chicken, so we wanted to try. First we were greeted by the owner with a very friendly Hello and Merry Christmas. We sat immediately and within minutes of the order our food was served. This used to be hands down one of the best BBQ places in NC. Now it is inconsistent and at times some of the worst BBQ you can fin almost anywhere. Food can be twice fried warmed over, frozen that has been rewarmed. It's something to eat that's all you can say. But if you want a typical Eastern NC BBQ experience. Keep on trucking.
