The decor at the new Publik cafe by the U is bright and sunny, and the staff was friendly. I had high expectations, because the Publik cafe on Ninth South is one of my favorites for breakfast. Big disappointment, though. The waffle was cold and inedible (tasted like what I imagine styrofoam would taste like) and it was served in a little french-fry basket, making it difficult to cut.
