This historical place located close to the Red Funnel terminal is a must for visitors and locals. Easy to find it is close to lots of historical landmarks nearby. The food is very popular and a good selection of well known beers on tap. Early booking is recommended for meals. In the winter months a lovely log fire is a great feature to sit beside. Went there for dinner. I ordered the ribs which were very nice, very fresh and tasty. My partner ordered fish and chips and the fish was bad, he could not eat it and had to return it because it was not edible, it stank like pond and they even said that it wasn't right. They gave us a refund and apologised which we appreciated, it must have been a bad day for them as they're very popular for their fish and chips, but... View all feedback.
