the first time bite at the new place and eating was great! the fried pickles are some of the best I had in Statesboro. The Homestyle Friars are some of my favorites! the only negatiw I had, and it is the same as the last place, the Burger-Patty is smaller than the bungalow. they end up with more rolls than burgers in the last bites. beautiful location and great music selection! Called at 8:15 and was told they aren’t accepting take out orders. Moved to a bigger location presumably to take in more business and then turn away customers. Seems like walking backwards to me. I’ve worked in restaurants for 15 years, wish I could’ve just denied service cause it got busy. Would’ve made my job much easier. Must be nice.
