What Dominic Käser likes about Restaurant Sihlmatt:
It take a local guide or a good GPS to get there, completely isolated, way off the beaten tracks, hidden behind hills, valleys, woods, farms, etc. but set in a nature shrine out of this world ... probably unreachable on a snowy day even with a 4WD. when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon, there were few guests. you could sit outside. we ordered 2 × forelle fried with supplements, 1/2 l white wine, lead water. to the conclusion 2 coffee. the service was average, the forks too dry, too long roasted. a pity for home-specificity. the whole cost almost chf 100. for 1 l of lead water we had to pay chf 6 although we paid for 1/2 l white wine, at the same time, already...
