Nick and I were trout fishing on a test carrier up the road and needed some sustenance at lunch so we pulled into the crown on a saturday lunchtime and were warmly welcomed and shown to a nice table in the garden where we had a great view of the thatched roof and a lovely little bird box occupied by wrens. Food and beer was great and the friendly staff made it a great atmosphere.Will definitely return. View all feedback.

I had lunch with a friend, we ordered a lamb roast each. When it arrived the meat, gravy and vegetables were cold. Not very good as only 6 diners in resteruant. We ordered crumble and custard it was lukewarm. We payed the bill and left. Appalling. Will not go back. View all feedback.
